Serenity & Grace Launches Equity Crowdfunding Campaign to Accelerate Growth

Serenity & Grace, the online fashion boutique, is raising funds for the first time in order to accelerate its growth rates in the UK and other international markets.

Founded in London in late 2016 by ex-fashion model Ann Marie McDonagh, Serenity & Grace has firmly established itself in a highly competitive industry by offering what is best described as ‘affordable luxury’.

Prior to establishing the business, Ann Marie had 25 years commercial experience with many leading fashion brands, such as Gant, Fred Perry and Penney’s, with the last 10 years within global directorship.   Her trained eye enables her to source beautiful pieces at affordable prices.

Offering a top to toe solution for occasion wear and beautiful daywear, aimed predominantly at the 25 to 55 age demographic, the company made a profit in its first year of trading, a remarkable achievement in the fashion industry, and it has built a loyal following of online customers. The exclusive product offering has gained a strong interest with customers, press and bloggers and since launching two years ago has attracted partnerships with the likes of British Airways Flying Start and The National Film awards.

“We’ve got to a stage now where we can achieve accelerated growth online by increasing our digital marketing expenditure and it is for this reason that we are raising funds”, says Ann Marie.  “The beauty of this business is that our data analytics allow us track the return on investment of every cent we spend on online marketing expenditure and this allows us to be incredibly effective with our online budget”, she added.

The funding will be used for planned international expansion in association with the google sponsored accelerator programme for recognised high growth potential  and the GIFT  IIBN Global campaign to support the UK and Irish continued growth and the targeted International markets.

Equity crowdfunding allows hundreds of small and medium sized investors to purchase shares in early stage companies, this method of fundraising appeals to Serenity & Grace as new investors are likely to also become brand advocates for the business.  As a sweetener, all investors coming on board at this time will receive a 20% lifetime discount on all Serenity & Grace products purchased on the website.

The company is aiming to raise €80,000 at a pre-money valuation of €400,000.
